Naul Bodden is the President and founder of NCB Group. He was born in the Cayman Islands in 1950 and attended elementary and high school here. He attended William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and obtained a Business and Accounting Degree with Honours in 1973. He obtained his Certified Public Accountant Certificate in 1978 and by doing so became the first Caymanian to possess this qualification. He became a Partner of Arthur Young in 1980 (which later became Ernst and Young) and remained a partner for 19 years before retiring from the firm in October 1999. Whilst at Ernst and Young, he was the Director of auditing and was responsible for the Bank and Trust sector, Mutual Fund sector and a significant number of consulting/corporate finance engagements.
He is a shareholder and Director of a diverse number of local companies and is also one of the major property developers in Cayman and has developed projects totaling over 0 Million.
He is also currently a trustee of the National Recovery Fund, and a past Director of the National Gallery. He was recently recognized as the outstanding Alumnus of the year by William Carey College and as one of the ten Pioneer Entrepreneurs that helped shape the Cayman Islands. He is a past President of the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants, past Chairman of the Immigration Board and the Cayman Islands National Museum. He has been a guest speaker at International Conferences in the area of auditing and entrepreneurial services.
Matthew Wight has been the Managing Director of the NCB Group since 2008 and has worked in the construction/development industry in Cayman for over ten years. Being born and raised in Cayman he has an established knowledge of the local industry. He holds a Bachelor Degree in International Finance and with schooling in the UK accompanied with worldwide travel, brings a global perspective to helping residential development excel throughout the Islands.
Matthew has been instrumental in the growth of NCB and its subsidiary companies. He is also an entrepreneur in his own right with interests in various local businesses varying across Liquor Distribution, Restaurants and Construction Equipment/Machinery. He is an active member of the community and is a role model to young Caymanians.
Andy Woodcock originally trained as a quantity surveyor, before moving in to development, sales and marketing. He has nearly 30 years of designing, building and selling luxury housing, apartment and hotel developments, all over the world. His experience includes every aspect from appraisal of potential projects, through purchasing land on favourable terms, masterplanning, design, legal structures, budgeting, raising finance, construction, marketing, sales and management.
Candice Bahadur has been a Project Manager with NCB Group since 2009. She ensures successful delivery of property and construction projects from concept through to hand-over. She holds a graduate degree in Architecture and Project Management from Ryerson University of Toronto, Canada and has 10 years working experience as a Project Manager in the Cayman Islands. Candice’s commitment starts with working in close collaboration with our clients from a conceptual stage. This allows her to provide the best advice and be a flexible, and cost efficient resource. Her areas of expertise are design technology, construction documentation and contract administration. Her versatile portfolio exhibits projects ranging in scale from simple to complex.
Bill joined NCB Group in January 2009 as our Construction Manager. He brings over 35 years experience in Business Development, Property Development, Real Estate Sales & Construction Management in the US & abroad. In the past 19 years Bill has specialized in Concrete Construction and Consulting using ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) in both Residential & Commercial buildings . He has also worked with PCA (Portland Cement Association) & NAHB (The National Association of Home Builders) as a Contractor and a Consultant for their Convention Tour Homes.
John Van Ryswyk was born in Dryden, Ontario Canada, July 5, 1978. He moved to London Ontario in 1999 where he attended Fanshawe College. There he took General Business, and graduated with a Media Production Diploma. Soon after he entered a Plumbing Apprenticeship, and graduated again from Fanshawe, in 2005 with a Journeyman Plumber C of Q. John moved to the Cayman Islands in November of 2005. Since then, he has earned Geothermal Installation and Socket Fusion certificates form Enertech Global. John is an owner of Tropic Taps Plumbing and GeoCayman, both sister companies of NCB Group.
A Graduate Civil Engineer with 8+ years experience in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering with Site Supervision experience, Millianna brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the design, project management and construction team at NCB Group. She holds a Masters in Science in International Construction Management from the University of Bath, UK as well as a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering.
Patrick joined NCB in 2013 as an Architectural Technologist. Combined with twelve years of experience in architecture, his innovative and technical skills are a valuable asset to the design and construction team. He works with clients to develop their design to detail and produces all the necessary construction drawings, diagrams, specifications and schedules that enables the construction team to create an end result that exceeds our expectations. His passion lies in sustainable design and the integration of LEED principles. Patrick holds a BSc in Architecture from La Salle University.
Alan joined the NCB Group in 2010 starting up the NCB Property Services Department. Alan is a member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), he studied with IFMA to gain his Facility Management Professional certification. Before joining NCB Group, Alan worked for over 3 years in the Cayman Islands commercial property market managing some of the Islands Class ‘A’ buildings, which he continues to manage now under the NCB portfolio. At NCB Alan has expanded his property portfolio to include not only commercial properties but also residential stratas. Alan was educated in England however was born and raised in Cayman and has a good understanding of the local market.
Aron Robson joined NCB in March 2015. Aron has a background in private security and property management. Having spent the past 5 years in Paris France managing a diplomatic residence for the Saudi Arabian Government, he is looking forward to the varying projects NCB has to offer. Aron has a diploma in Project management and looks forward to furthering his experience in Cayman. Aron enjoys working with people and is committed to providing excellent service to the highest standard. Aron will be assisting with the day-to-day management of all properties in NCB’s portfolio.
